He is a traveler and believes in doing good for all. Meet Sudhanshu, Team Lead – Software Engineering at Chocolate. Sudhanshu kick starts his day with an intention of spreading smiles & challenges himself to learn something new. Time to familiarize Sudhanshu to others in his own words!
- What does your job at Chocolate entail?
I have been a part of the Engineering team at Chocolate for the past 7 years. I am responsible for developing and maintaining our meditation product which is an end-to-end monetization platform for app developers. The Ad Mediation space being a dynamic one, my role involves keeping pace with the latest developments and adding new features to our portal. I am also responsible for maintaining our data-pipeline, aggregating high-volume data in real time and ensuring that our reporting is impeccable. - Your favorite moment with the Chocolate team so far?
My favorite moment was when I receive the “Vdopia Star Award” from CEO at annual Town Hall in 2013. That has been ‘The’ most favorite, but I really enjoy all the outings we have had especially the rafting trip to Rishikesh. - Things that you like about working at Chocolate?
The work culture here is awesome. I am a firm believer that the people you work with influence one the most & all my colleagues are very supportive. I have learned a lot from them so working at Chocolate has been enriching both personally & professionally. - Tell us about your experience prior to joining Chocolate.
Prior to Chocolate, I have worked with an e-commerce & a product-based company as a software engineer. I have worked on managing and developing several different applications and have hands-on experience in developing APIs for apps. - What are your pursuits outside of work? What do you prefer doing on weekends?
I just like to pick up my bike or car & go on a long drive. I find driving very relaxing, finding a place that not many have been to brings me unexplained joy. - Which place you would like to visit if given a chance
I have a long bucket list of places I’d like to visit, topping the chart is “Chadar trek” in Ladakh. - What’s the best meal you have ever had and where?
I enjoy anything that’s been prepared at home, veg / non-veg everything tastes delicious so long it’s been cooked with love. - One movie you loved watching in recent times
“Parmanu”, it’s the story of how India successfully conducted nuclear tests in 1998. I love watching such movies, brings a sense of pride towards our nation. - What motivates you to get going every morning?
Before going to sleep, I promise myself that I shall try & do something that will make someone happy, it could be helping somebody at work or a courteous gesture towards any one I come across. My intension is to be the reason behind someone’s smile. Also, I always try to challenge myself to do things differently & that brings me a sense of excitement & keeps me going. - Which apps are keeping you engaged nowadays?
I like to play “SubwaySurfer” whenever I get time.
